Vector Graphics

Unlike you and me, Axel is not made of flesh and bone, but of paths, groups and points, that is, different parts of vector graphics. And non any vector graphics we designed ourselves. No Axel is made of Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), a standard technology that quite a few of the largest companies in the mobile industry jointly developed in a forum called World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Because of Axel being made of this standard technology for displaying animated graphics, open and free for anyone to use and develop players, tools and content on, it is possible to enjoy his walk around the world with any SVG enabled browser. And since the SVG format is being promoted as the way to go for enriching the mobile space with animated graphics, a lot of the mobile browsers already support the SVG format and many more are coming..
